Our History
Hamilton Blake was formed by current director Darryl in 2008 after 7 years working for large companies including time at one of the ‘big four’.
Darryl is an experienced Chartered Tax Adviser who has a wealth of experience in all areas of owner managed business taxation. The business offers the best level of service whilst retaining a friendly atmosphere.
Hamilton Blake are also proud to be at the forefront of probate regulated tax and accounting firms in the UK. With a solid background in tax Hamilton Blake can offer advice and services right through from inheritance planning to probate and distribution of assets.

Hamilton Blake’s head office is situated in the quiet market town of Swaffham in Norfolk, just west of the city of Norwich.
We do also occupy an office in London, meaning we can offer nationwide coverage for all of our clients wherever they may be!

Darryl founded Hamilton Blake in December 2006 after working as a specialist tax consultant for several large accounting firms. He established the practice to service the tax consulting requirements of owner managed businesses, entrepreneurs and private clients with a more personal touch.
Darryl is a highly experienced Chartered Tax Adviser who has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of taxation and business consulting.

My day to day role varies and can include: drafting clearance applications to HMRC on statutory corporate reorganisations; completing business and share valuations; and providing personal tax planning.
Before joining Hamilton Blake, I graduated from University of Manchester with a Masters Degree in Mathematics. I have continued my studies and am currently studying for my CTA qualification through the ATT/CTA Pathway.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends, family and my Cockapoo, Nev. Also, I enjoy watching most sports, especially football and supporting Manchester United.

Kieran Joined Hamilton Blake in November 2014. Through this time, he has worked closely with clients on personal tax matters such as self-assessment returns and CGT Property returns. Last year he completed a Diploma in level 4 Probate Law and is currently studying for his CTA qualification through the ATT/CTA pathway.
Outside of work Kieran enjoys playing golf at his local course in Swaffham, He also enjoys spending time at his allotments growing fruit and vegetables.

Emily joined Hamilton Blake in September 2018 after completing an apprenticeship in Business and Administration at a local medical practice. She has gone on to complete a Diploma in Business Administration and Level 4 Probate Law and is currently studying towards a level 6 Diploma in Probate Law. Emily puts all this experience and knowledge into ensuring Hamilton Blake is running as efficiently as possible. Emily is responsible for development and maintenance of various filing systems, ensuring the logistical needs of the business are met and being the first point of contact with clients. If you ever call or pop in, Emily will be there to greet you with a smile.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys socialising with her friends and family whilst wearing her favourite brand, Fairfax and Favor.
